Beginning Thursday, October 3, 2024, we will be undergoing one of the most exciting software conversions in our more than 100 year history.

Upgrades Include:

  • New and improved Online Banking
  • New and improved Mobile Banking
  • New and improved Bill Pay
  • New and improved Debit Cards & Payments
  • Much more!

Harrison County Bank has partnered with one of the leading providers in community banking software and ancillary products.  As such, we anticipate a smooth transition that will provide very little disruption to you, our valued customers.  In order to ensure this, we encourage you to review each of the following in-depth explanations to gain a better understanding of how each service will be changing and what you can do to prepare for this exciting upgrade.

What You Need to Know:

Bank Hours

Throughout the conversion, Harrison County Bank will remain open for our normal business hours.  This includes Thursday, October 3rd when the conversion begins, Friday, October 4th when we start our first day on the new system, and Saturday, October 5th.

ATM & Debit Cards

  • Balance inquiries will be unavailable from your Harrison County Bank debit cards Thursday, October 3rd through Saturday, October 5th.  However, purchases and withdrawals will still be able to process.
  • All debit cards are being reissued as chip capable and contactless.  These cards will have new numbers.  Cardholders will begin receiving these within the 2 weeks prior to the conversion.
  • Cardholders should activate and begin using the new cards starting the morning of Thursday, October 3rd.

Online Banking

  • Online banking will be offline beginning at 4:00 PM on Thursday, October 3rd.
  • Effective, Monday, October 7th, you will login using your existing username as this will not change.  You will then be prompted for your password.  Your password will be your existing user name, plus the last four digits of your Social Security Number.  For example, if your user name is johndoe and the last four of your SSN are 1234, your new password is johndoe1234. You will then be prompted to select a new password, followed by selecting security questions and answers, as well as your personal greeting and image.
  • Please note:  After the upgrade to our new Digital Banking, you will no longer be able to see a transaction history prior to October 3rd.  However, once conversion is completed, 24 months of statement history will be loaded into the new Digital Banking.  We strongly encourage you to download any statements or export any transaction data prior to the beginning of the conversion on October 3rd.

Mobile Banking

Mobile banking will not be available on our current app beginning Thursday, October 3rd.  Beginning on Monday, October 7th, our new and improved app will be available for download in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.  The new mobile banking app includes the following:

  • Bill Pay
  • Mobile capture – allowing you to deposit checks directly from your phone with the touch of a button
  • Person to Person Payments (P2P) which will allow you to send money to your friends and family
  • Transfer funds between accounts
  • View your recent transaction history
  • Enhanced debit card controls including requesting a limit increase and turning the card on/off

Bill Pay

  • Existing e-bill links will not be available beginning Friday, September 27th.
  • Bill Pay access will not be available beginning Tuesday, October 1st.
  • Please ensure that all bills that are due within a week of the conversion (October 5th – October 13th) are scheduled to pay by Thursday, October 3rd.
  • Payments on the new Bill Pay system will beginning processing on Friday, October 4th.

Statements

  • All accounts will cut off their final statement on our current processor on Thursday, October 3rd.  You may also receive your normal statement based on your current statement cycle. This means some accounts will receive two statements in the month of October.
  • For your convenience, we will not assess any monthly service charges on the October 3rd one-time statement.
  • Interest bearing accounts will receive their interest credited as of October 3rd, and again with their regular monthly statement in October.
  • ACH debits and credits that are pending on Thursday, October 3rd will post that day.  This could be prior to the effective date of the transaction in certain cases.
